Senior Transitions Life Coaching

Welcome! Thank you for your interest in my Senior Transitions Life Coaching Service! More and more people today are seeking the help from a professional life coach because they choose to create better quality lives; they want more time for themselves and their most important relationships and they want to invest more time in their emotional and physical well being.

I provide my Senior Transitions Life Coaching Services at my home office near beautiful Heceta Beach in Florence, Oregon, or on-site in your home (or in a meeting area of your choice, e.g., a coffee shop). If you are interested in experiencing the power of  Horse-Guided Learning and Coaching, sessions are held at a local horse facility off Highway 101 in Florence, Oregon (no experience with horses is necessary and all the work with the horses is done safely on the ground).

As a senior, you’ve already had a very rich journey, whether you have loved and nurtured family members, pursued academic or professional success, or assumed social responsibility in your community, such as volunteer work, shared hobbies, or political advocacy / activism. During your journey your outlook may have been influenced by those things you learned in early childhood in your original family system as well as in later influential associations. I also offer Workshops and Retreats for Seniors in Florence and in a Retreat Center in the woods near Eugene throughout the year.

As you continue Life’s Journey into your Senior years, you may wonder if you have always lived true to yourself, and if not, how you might create your best and most fulfilling life today – A life that reflects who you are at your deepest core. You may also be wanting to explore your understanding of Religion and/or Spirituality in ways you never have before. My Senior Transition Life Coaching Services can effectively and powerfully support you with reaching any current goals or gracefully embracing necessary or desired transitions. My background as a Social Services Director in Residential  and Skilled Nursing Senior Facilities and as a Spiritual Guidance Counselor also makes me an effective Advocate if you need help navigating the medical and senior housing systems.

As a Certified Life Coach, Relationship Therapist, and former Geriatric Social Services Director, I can help you in the following areas:

  • Create meaningful and achievable goals that reflect your passions and satisfy core needs

  • Learn new life skills to better navigate change and embrace uncertainty

  • Discover your personal motivation so you can achieve your goals faster with less stress

  • Create more fulfillment, balance and joy in your life

  • Identify and change limiting beliefs that are preventing you from moving forward

  • Increase your confidence and self-esteem

  • Rejuvenate your relationships

  • Help deal with relationship problems and challenges

  • Deciding on future living options

  • Assistance negotiating the medical system

  • Retirement options (travel, move, remain local, etc.)

Life coaching is a partnership in which we guide and support people to a higher level of personal and professional achievement.  People seek the structure, support, feedback, learning  and accountability personal life coaching provides to help them achieve their most important goals.

Professional coaching is about increasing your sense of personal efficacy by increasing the number choices and options you have in your life. Personal life coaches as well as horse-guided coaching brings out the best in people, inspiring them to appreciate and support the best in others!
